Colorado ditch companies by county

47 Colorado counties have at least one mutual ditch or reservoir company with a DWR-verified water structure inside them — 315 companies in all, drawn from the same match set behind the directory and the map. Each county page lists the companies verified there, with links back to their full records.

1,075 of 1,390 census companies appear on no county page here. DitchBook can verify where a company's water structures physically sit, from Colorado DWR records — that's the "operates structures in" relationship these pages show. What it can't yet verify is where a company's registered office is at county grain: the Secretary of State's own filings give a city, not a county, for a company's principal address, and turning a city into a county would mean guessing with a lookup table this project doesn't have and won't invent. A "based in" county relationship is left out of this build entirely rather than approximated. Until a company has a verified water match, it's still in the full directory by name and town — just not on a county page.
